Discern both word and deed,
And by salvation be freed.
For your soul, Satan would lie,
And lead you to Hell to die.
Discern what passeth the eye,
And let not your flesh get by.
For letting go the flesh to sin,
Has brought down many men.
Discern what passeth the ear,
And by Your Word, discern what we hear.
For hear from our Father in Heaven,
That we cannot serve God and mammon.
