Questions of Need

Are you lost and all alone?
Have all your friends from you gone?
I know the One on Who you can depend,
And He will help your soul to defend.


Are you needing the truest love?
You need to know God above.
The love I speak of is full and free,
All you have to do is open your sin-darkened eyes to see.


Are you seeking a relationship that will never end?
Are you looking for someone on whom you can always depend?
Then I can tell you about my God,
And how He can release you from the holds of this earthly sod.

Real Hell

You say that you have been through Hell today,
But if you think about it, there is no way.
There is nothing close to being there,
And you say that in life you are being treated unfair.


Hell is reserved for the lost,
So we must save as many at any cost.
Be a light within the dark,
Take them into the Savior's ark.


Remember the next time you use that phrase,
That this truth is not just a passing phase.
For God does not want to turn anyone away,
But when dealing with a life God does not play.

Fear in Perspective

Fear is in the hearts of men,
Because they don't know the trouble their in.
Their end to them is unknown,
Until their state to them is shown.


Fear I the One who made me,
Because He set me free.
My end will not be in vain,
And His praise, will be my life's refrain.


Fear not the man of flesh,
Because righteousness and sin do not mesh.
For if the gift of life you receive,
It is because in Him, you believe.

Disconnected

We long to have someone to connect to,
And we want something to see us through.
All the things that might fill us are vain,
And they cannot take away our soul's pain.


We have been cut off by our sin,
And we have been left empty within.
Satan wants to keep us in the dark,
And keep us from salvation's journey to embark.


Do you feel disconnected?
And by the world neglected?
For the world does not care,
And would your thoughts impair.


Do you want connect to something greater?
Do you want to know about your Creator?
He came down from up on high,
And came down and did for us die.

For God has given us as sons the power,*
And has come in our needing hour.
We will reconnect with Him in presence,
And in His presence there will be not hesitance.**

* - "But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:"(John 1:12)

** - This day will come soon, when we will all stand in His great presence.

What Has Your God Done For You?

Does your god sit there encased in stone?
Or sitting there not caring on their throne?
Does your god have many faces?
An earthly form in many places.

Does your god have earthly powers?
Is he awake after hours?
Does he listen to your cries?
Or within a grave is where he lies?

A god of love, war, and greed,
Does he know your every need?
A god of hate, flesh, and despair,
When all is lost is he there?

When all is said and done,
Is your god the only one?
Has he seen you through the dark?
Has he followed you on the journey you embark?

The questions that I impart,
Are the questions of the human heart.
For we can seek to no avail,
Because by our own power, we will end up in Hell.

My God is the only One,
Yet many people would shun.
For He gave His only Son,
He did it so our soul could be won.

He has always been enough for me,
He clear my sin-darkened eyes so I could see.
For life without Him is no life at all,
For He is my life and my life's call.

Put away all the sinful desires,
Dowse all those fleshly fires.
We are made of God, not of chance,
And by His Word, we advance.

My God has done great things,
And that is why my heart sings.
He gave us life to live eternal,
And enjoy blessings supernal.
